Financial Aid

The Certificate in Nutrition and Dietetics is a post-baccalaureate program. Students do have some Federal Loan opportunities available. Students accepted into this program may receive aid in the form of federal loans if they qualify. The lifetime aggregate loan limits for underÑý¾«ÊÓƵ students are: $31,000 for dependent students and $57,500 for independent students. The maximum combined federal loan (unsubsidized or subsidized) that can be taken by a student in this program is $12,500 per academic year. Students must be enrolled at least half time (6+ credit hours) in order to be eligible for federal student loans.

To apply for the federal Stafford loan, you must first complete a (FAFSA) application. Please note that when you complete the FAFSA, you should indicate you are a fifth-year underÑý¾«ÊÓƵ student and answer no to the question asking if you are in a Ñý¾«ÊÓƵ program. Students who need additional funds to meet their cost of attendance can apply for .
